WPR Programming Update


newtwoComing up tomorrow at 7P U.S. Pacific you can get caught up with all the latest LGBT News & Info with “This Way Out” The award winning international LGBT Radio Magazine. Tomorrow night we’ll find out how Hillary gets a history lesson, and Bernie wonders why she needed it… Mya Taylor becomes the first transgender winner at the Independent Spirit Awards for her best supporting actress role in “Tangerine” (hear her acceptance speech and some backstage comments)… and “Tangerine” co-writer and director Sean Baker brings film clips and soundtrack music when he talks about his critically-acclaimed film with our Steve Pride… plus the usual round-up of global LGBT news. We kick off this week with fresh new music from Inas X: singer, song-writer, actress, and activist. She’s currently on tour with Fety Wap, and should be stopping here in Portland later this Spring. We’re playing her new track “Love Is”.

Also, a new track from Los Angeles based “Athena”. Described by the British press as “A voice blessed” and “Brave and original” by the Guardian. WPR is spinning her new song called “Lithium”.
